Change Management: Hows That Working For You?
Session Objectives as it relates to Developing/Implementing a change management strategy addressing a specific organizational need. By the end of the session participants will be able to:
- Utilize the P.E.S.T. Factors Model to evaluate and forecast change in the workplace in order to prepare and plan for the extent of change to encounter as a result of the P.E.S.T. analysis.
- Identify reasons why previous change management efforts fail and discuss strategies to overcome these obstacles.
- Implement a 3-stage process for change that will address a specific organizational need resulting in interventions that be utilized to effectively implement and manage change.
We’ve all seen the statistics - only 30% of change management efforts succeed. Which means that a whopping 70% fail! With all of the tools, models, knowledge and examples we have to follow on change, why can’t we get it right more than 30% of the time? This session presents new approaches and models to help HR professionals to effectively focus on identifying, implementing and managing change.
