J. Bruce Cross

Attorney at Rose Law Firm

J. Bruce Cross practices labor and employment defense law. He is a member of the American Bar Association’s Committee on the Development of the Law under the National Labor Relations Act, as well as a Fellow in the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers. Bruce was also featured in U.S. News and World Report, where he was named among the Best Labor and Employment Lawyers in the nation, and Mid-South Super Lawyers, making the publication’s top 50 list. He has also been honored by Chambers and Partners and Best Lawyers in America. Bruce’s practice includes work before the National Labor Relations Board, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the Wage & Hour and OFCCP Divisions of the Department of Labor, as well as related Federal and State Court Litigation. His experience includes collective bargaining, arbitration, advising management regarding maintenance of a non-union and non-discriminatory workplace, supervisory training, and the development of personnel systems and the preparation of Affirmative Action Plans. Admitted to practice before numerous federal courts throughout the country, he has argued cases before multiple Courts of Appeals and practiced before the United States Supreme Court.
