Director of Human Resources and Chief Diversity Officer, Arkansas State University-Beebe
Teri Roper is the Director of Human Resources and Chief Diversity Officer for Arkansas State University-Beebe and has over 25 years of Human Resources experience. She graduated with distinction from John Brown University with a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Management. She currently leads all human resources and organizational development activities as well as all diversity, equity and inclusion efforts at ASU-Beebe. The ASU System Benefits Committee and the Arkansas Community College’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committee are also organizations of service. Previously, she served as Manager of Human Resources Operations at Arkansas Blue Cross where she was responsible for recruiting, HR operations, immigration, compliance and regulatory functions. She proved her devotion to technology when she led both employers through HRIS conversions to Workday and Banner. Teri was also instrumental in developing one of the most sought after internship programs in the state at Blue Cross. She is a member of CAHRA where she currently serves as Vice President of Special Programs and has served on numerous committees and in many board positions. As a leader in higher education, she is also a member of the Colleges and Universities’ Personnel Association.
