Bringing Your Compensation Plan Into Focus
Presentation Description
With more and more states enacting pay history bans, a heightened focus on equal pay for equal work, and the labor market becoming increasingly more competitive, it is more critical than ever for employers to have a well-structured compensation plan. In this session, we are going to take a deep dive into how to develop a compensation plan and ways to ensure it is aligned with the company’s short-term and long-term strategic goals.

- Learn the components that go into developing a compensation structure
- Discuss strategies and tools to be able to assess, design, implement and evaluate a compensation program

Angelique O’Bryan, Kayla Thomas, and Stephanie Cumley are members of the TPC Vision team. They provide HR solutions to clients with employee counts ranging from 4 employees to over 400 employees. Combined they have approximately 50 years of experience in human resources and have worked in or with different industries such as manufacturing, banking, medical and dental clinics, construction, technology, restaurants, pharmaceuticals, transportation, property management, and early education. All three have earned bachelor’s degrees and are HRCI and/or SHRM certified. They have also furthered their education through Masters’ programs and/or other HR certifications. As HR professionals, their goal is to provide strategic support to help their clients meet business objectives while providing innovative solutions to help them stay ahead of the competition. Together, they focus on keeping clients compliant with the ever-changing employment laws, exploring the link between company culture and organization effectiveness, and using technology to streamline processes.

Stephanie Cumley, PHR, SHRM-CP
HR Advisor at TPC Vision
Stephanie Cumley is an HR Advisor with TPC Vision. TPC Vision is a division of The Payroll Company that offers a full-service platform designed to streamline and enhance a company’s payroll, human resources, and employee benefits functions. Stephanie has over 20 years of experience in Human Resources including 17 years as a practitioner and 3 years as a consultant. She graduated from Missouri State University and continued her education by completing the Human Resources Certificate Program through the Management Development Institute at MSU. She also holds her SHRM-CP Certification with the Society of Human Resource Management as well as her PHR with the Human Resource Certification Institute. Her focus is to help clients become compliant with employment law regulations and to provide strategic support to help clients meet their business objectives.
