A recognized leader known for finding ways to make organizations better and helping people reach their potential, Robert offers a unique blend of strategic vision, teambuilding, executive coaching, and global training expertise to organizations and individuals wanting to improve their results.

Before joining the John Maxwell Team as a coach, trainer, and speaker, Robert was instrumental in Computer Science Corporation helping the Army exceed its goals in supporting soldiers during wartime. With business acumen and a logistics background, Robert successfully managed and grew projects supporting aviation, missile and computer systems at Redstone Arsenal.

While serving for 30 years as an Army Logistician, Robert led small and large Army units and served on major Army staffs at the Pentagon and overseas. Robert commanded the Army’s Maintenance Depot for missile systems. Using his accumulated expertise and experience, he oversaw the establishment of a Joint Task Force Headquarters base in the Horn of Africa in support of the War on Terrorism.

At the Aviation and Missile Command at Redstone Arsenal, Robert served as Chief of Staff and used his leadership and people skills to facilitate the formation of the first Life Cycle Management Command in the Army.

Robert is a native of Clarendon, Arkansas and holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Arkansas State University, a Master of Business Administration from Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts and Master of Science from the National Defense University in Washington, D.C. Robert sits on the boards of the National Defense Industrial Association Tennessee Valley Chapter, Association of the United States Army Redstone-Huntsville Chapter and is an active alumnus of Leadership Greater Huntsville.
